"Rock On" Found his loving home and will
never need to worry about safety as he will be
tracked through our program for his entire life.
Our program also supports adopters with information in training, nutrition and transitioning their new horse whenever they need it.
TRRAC is an official non-profit, dedicated to keep retiring race horses and thoroughbreds safe and loved. We are proudly located at Maui Meadow Farm, Pennsylvania's oldest thoroughbred farm since 1946. Our program is dedicated to a dignified retirement, offering rehabilitation, and safe placement of thoroughbred racehorses when they are retired from their racing careers.
We assist retiring racehorses as well as at risk horses by giving them a safe place to go, where they can bond with people off the track, receive medical care, retraining, nutrition and graze peacefully in the sun while enjoying retirement. Our program retrains many of these beautiful horses every year for second careers and places them in approved, safe and loving homes.
These "second careers" include show homes, pleasure homes, polo, fox hunting, police work, ranch work and more. We believe each horse who is with us can find a home to call their own.
There is permanent sanctuary for elderly and special needs horses who are unable to be adopted due to health concerns. These horses live out their lives in safety at TRRAC. We strive to provide specialized medical treatments, shoeing, nutritional care, and professional training to ensure every horse is safe, happy, and cared for they transition into its new home and career.
Whether you are a long-time horse owner or seeking your first horse, we strive to assist you and your family seek your perfect horse, answer any and all of your questions and step you through our easy processes, while offering support - even after adoption.
