Adopt A Horse In Need Today

Adopting a retired thoroughbred racehorse can be immensely rewarding for both the horse and the owner. This new journey will create opportunities for bonding as you provide your retired racehorse with a wonderful next chapter in life. On behalf of everyone at TRRAC, thank you for considering an off-the-track thoroughbred.

If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring a horse in rehabilitation. These horses face a long recovery journey, and your support can significantly ease their transition and healing process.

This beautiful filly is named Tri Light. She is 16.2 and born in 2016. Tri Light comes from one of the best racing stables we work closely with. Tri Light is 100% sound with absolutely no issues or vices and is expected to remain 100% in a new career. This girl is a VERY easy keeper. She’s great turned out or in her stall. Stands lovely for vet and farrier as well as cross ties. Tri Light was track trained but never had a single start as she rocovered from a tendon strain. She’s an excellent mover and we see a lot of hunter/jumper potential! Very level headed to work with, she is interested in new things introduced to her with minimal spook factor. Has not been restarted under saddle. Tri Light is turned out 24/7 and is easy to catch and work in hand.
