POCOPSON MAN had 60 career starts with 9 wins. He earned a total of $153,158 before retiring sound. Pocopson Man was bred and foaled by Maui Meadow Farm (on Pocopson Road) and was placed in a second career after he was retired from racing in 2009. In 2017, the Lymans were contacted for his return to the farm as his owner was unable to continue his ownership. He was adopted out once again that year, but returned again in 2021 as his adopters were unable to continue his care due to personal reasons. As Pocopson Man has returned to his place of birth and is now in his 20's, he has been permanently retired into TRRAC's sanctuary program where he will be able to live out his older years with harmony and happiness. He lives with and is closely related to Maui Meadow Farm homebred RED HOT IRON, who reached her 30 year milestone in 2022 and also resides at Maui Meadow Farm with TRRAC.
