**ADOPTED**
Orula (KY)
TB, DK B/, G, foaled April 4, 2018
( Exaggerator - Hunting Hill, by Hard Spun )
"Sarge" is a lovely 2018 gelding who has been retired from racing for some years now. Sarge was originally utilized as a therapy horse for veterans with PTSD in another program, but unfortunately, as of 2025, the VA cut funding to his program, and he was unable to be cared for or housed any longer.
Without a "job", his program disbanded, and he found his way to TRRAC, where we welcomed him with open arms. Sarge is sound, barefoot, and has no vices. He would love to find a home where he will be welcomed, with no worries about his future any longer. Sarge has not been restarted with TRRAC and is being rehomed as a courtesy intake. He is sound and should have no limitations. Sarge has been ridden western from his original connections with no issues.

Adopt A Horse In Need Today
Adopting a retired thoroughbred racehorse can be immensely rewarding for both the horse and the owner. This new journey will create opportunities for bonding as you provide your retired racehorse with a wonderful next chapter in life. On behalf of everyone at TRRAC, thank you for considering an off-the-track thoroughbred.
If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring a horse in rehabilitation. These horses face a long recovery journey, and your support can significantly ease their transition and healing process.
