"Normandy's Empire" is a lovely gelding who abolsutely loves to meet people. This horse is quiet to handle, loves grooming and is quiet to tack up. Normandy will stand on the cross ties, or single tie in his stall. He is easy to lead, gets along with other horses nicely (geldings) and has absolutely no vices.
Normandy is very quiet to ride. He is not what we would call a fantastic "show mover", however he is a "kick ride" that is slow and calm to suit an intermediate to amateur rider who wants to enjoy a hack, some ring rime, paper chases or all around activities. This guy is perfect alone or with another horse. Normandy has been introduced to flags, smoke bombs, bridges, tarps and stands nicely at the mounting block. He enjoys playing "tug of war" in the arena with lunge lines.
This horse is an absolute gentleman and a joy to work around.
Normandy wears a front pair of shoes, is UTD on all his vaccines, deworming, coggins, etc.

Adopt A Horse In Need Today
Adopting a retired thoroughbred racehorse can be immensely rewarding for both the horse and the owner. This new journey will create opportunities for bonding as you provide your retired racehorse with a wonderful next chapter in life. On behalf of everyone at TRRAC, thank you for considering an off-the-track thoroughbred.
If you can't adopt, please consider sponsoring a horse in rehabilitation. These horses face a long recovery journey, and your support can significantly ease their transition and healing process.
