Barton Holt is a 2011 New York-bred Thoroughbred gelding by Aragorn (IRE), a son of Giant’s Causeway, out of Charley’s Alada (by Becker), giving him athletic, versatile bloodlines that make him a wonderful candidate for a new career beyond the track. After the passing of his longtime owner and trainer, Barton Holt finds himself in urgent need of a new home where he can begin the next chapter of his life. For the past few years, he has been living outside with his companion, enjoying daily affection and attention, though he has not been in a regular riding program—so he will need a patient restart under saddle with someone willing to guide him forward. Gentle and kind, he is barefoot, sound, an easy keeper, and has no vices, making him an honest prospect for a rider or family looking for a horse to bring along with care and consistency. His adoption fee has been waived for the right, approved home, and we are looking for someone who will recognize his worth and offer him the safe, permanent place he deserves. To apply or learn more, please contact TRRAC at trrac@ottbs.org or 610-348-4338.
