Can you help a horse in need?

You can make a difference!

in 2022 TRRAC accepted nearly 85 horses in its program. In 2020, a worldwide pandemic caused hardship on horses and owners, resulting in nearly daily calls asking our program to bring in horses in need of a safe place to go. The pandemic forced previous adopters to return their horses due to financial difficulty. TRRAC hosts up to 40-45 horses at its facility at one time. A majority of the horses accepted required specialized care in the form of rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation for our horses requires many necessities. We provide specialized and veterinarian-recommended supplements, medications, and diagnostic procedures such as x-rays, ultrasounds, and frequent vet visits. These requirements are daily. Medications and diagnostics are very costly at times. Can you help a horse in need? Please read below how you can help our mission. Our organization thanks you in advance for your kind contribution to our equine friends.

The "$10,000" Goal
Help us raise $10,000 For Spring Costs

As our spring and summer months are fast approaching, this means many of our horses are due for the annual examinations, vaccines, dental floats and other wellness routines. Other general costs such as bathing supplies for spa days and gearing up to be restarted for their second careers are also a factor.

Our most costs lie within general veterinarian visits for wellness, which can total $100-$200 per horse to start as well as our visiting farrier costs of $100-$300 for shoes per horse. Help our horses take the lead with a great start into spring and closer to finding their perfect homes by donating.
